The Club’s AGM was held on Wednesday 15th May 2024 and one of the agenda items was the potential development opportunity new plans for an offsite indoor tennis and Padel facility.

Below is a link to a document outlining the preliminary plans. The purpose of this document is to provide you with an introduction into what the Management Committee (MC) is proposing to enable the club to continue to grow alongside satisfying the huge demand for Padel.

In June members will have the opportunity to request a much more detailed document which will include more information about the financials and usage data alongside proposed design and potential impact on the existing club.  In July we plan to have a couple of consultation evenings (which we also hope to video) where members will be able to ask much more detailed questions.  

There has already been a lot of time and effort invested by the Management Committee – in particular John Pritchard – to get us to this point, with the partners listed in the attached document.

We will give you plenty of opportunity to understand more, and then we will ask you to vote on whether you support the MC’s plans and if you would be willing to invest in the member loans, so we can understand whether financially we can achieve the project.
